Geoffroy has formed Jet-Set (first named Geoffroy Doyon Sextet) within the scope of a recording for his Master’s degree in jazz interpretation at McGill University, in the spring of 2005. The group’s first show was held on June 22, 2006 at La Kemia (today the Diese Onze), on Saint-Denis Street in Montreal. Since then, the group has given several other shows:

The audience was always very enthusiastic at every show because of the great quality of the songs played, the musicians, and the energy given off by the group. The repertoire of Jet-Set is made up exclusively of original Geoffroy Doyon compositions. Spanning the jazz, Latin jazz and jazz fusion styles, these songs are textured, captivating and often require a great deal of virtuosity from the musicians. The group is in the same niche as Uzeb, Dave Weckl Band, Michel Camilo or Chick Corea.

The group members are all professional musicians who frequently perform with various jazz or pop groups and artists.
